Self Drive T&C TERMS & CONDITIONS Reg: Terms & conditions for providing a vehicle for self-driving between the hirer and the hired  vehicle. In this agreement, HRS will be called “hired,” and the customer who took the vehicle for self-drive will be called “hirer.” –> Documents & Eligibility:  Renters must be at least 21 years old and have valid driving license that has been held for at least one year. Also required self-attested copies of photo ID like driving license, passport, Aadhar card Voter ID card, etc. HRS will check all original documents on the day of the journey before handing over the vehicle. Only the renter who has taken the vehicle after submitting the valid documents will remain authorized & responsible for the safe driving of the vehicle. In the event that any other person is allowed to drive the vehicle by the renter, he (who has updated information on HRS software) is fully responsible for the availability of a valid driving license for such a person. Any loss or damage incurred during self-driving due to an accident or other reason will be paid for by the renter himself. Applicable driving & other rules of the government, semi-government, RTOs, DTOs, or any other road transport authorities will be followed strictly. Any fake or illegal document furnished by the renter remains responsible for all legal aspects, and the booking will be terminated immediately. The renter should have a valid driving license for driving a light motor vehicle (domestic or international) and documents (self-attested copies) to hire the vehicle. The Aadhar card, voter ID card, and passport in their original and self-attested copies will be returned after the vehicle is returned in good condition and payment has been cleared. Documents required:@ Documents required for National customers: Valid Driver’s License, Proof of Identity (like an Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving license), utility bills (electricity, water, gas), property tax receipt, & Booking Confirmation Information (of hotel, homestay, resort, vacation home, and holiday rental, etc.) hard copy with self-attestation.@ Documents required for International customers (foreigners): Valid Driver’s License, International Driving Permit (IDP), Passport, Visa or Entry Permit, Proof of Address, Booking Confirmation in formation. Hard copy with self-attestation. HRS Tours required a renter document or ID as per the trip.@ Residential address: where the renter permanently lives. Required document: any one: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, and Utility Bills (Electricity, Water, Gas) hard copy with self-attestation.@ Temporary Address: where the renter stays temporarily. Required document: any one (ID of the person where the renter is going to live.): Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, and Utility Bills (Electricity, Water, Gas) hard copy with self-attestation.@ Tourist Address: The hotel, homestay, resort, vacation home, and holiday rental information. ID Proof: Hotel Booking Confirmation Information, Name & Address of the Stay Place. Hired (HRS) will provide valid registration, road permit, PUC, insurance, & other documents required while driving the vehicle to the hirer, He remains fully responsible for the safe custody of the same, and these are to be returned in all respects and in good condition.  –> Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 24 hours; extensions are subject to availability and must be informed in advance before the end of the original rental period & will have to pay the remain extensions rent in advance. Additional charges apply. Late returns will incur additional charges based on the hourly rate specified in the rental agreement. –> Payment Terms: Car rent will be applicable per day as per the vehicle model, & fuel and tolls will be paid by the renter. On the day of the journey, the renter will have to pay the full rent of the vehicle & the security deposit as discussed. Vehicle extension rent will have to be paid in advance. Pickup &drop off charges will be applicable as per distance.  On completion of a trip, the vehicle has to be returned and  handed over at Sardarpura, Jodhpur, from where it was taken, or within 2 kilometers & if the vehicle is returned and handed over beyond 2 km within the municipal area, normal pick-up charges will be charged extra at Rs. 20 per km. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, if the vehicle is handed over & returned by the renter at any other city, town, or village, i.e. out of Jodhpur, extra charges of Rs. 16/- (sixteen) PKM will be charged. This kilometer distance will be calculated through Google Maps, and it will charge 50 extra kilometers from Google. The renter will have to pay extra kilometers charges as discussed before, & they’ll have to pay while handing over the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned late, the extra per-hour charges will be applicable, as discussed. Accepted Payment Methods: UPI, debit cards, and online bank transfers. As per company norms per day, kilometers are allowed to be driven, & in case of extra km the renter will have to pay extra km amount as per vehicle model. HRS Tours takes only the advance amount from the renter to book the vehicle, which is not refundable if the renter cancels the booking. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the advance amount is refundable. –> Renter responsibility: The renter must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. The renter is liable for any fines, penalties, or towing charges incurred during the rental period. Valid driving documents are to be kept by the driver while self-driving the vehicle. Smoking, Consumption of food, carrying of pets or animals, goods, or other articles inside the vehicle for self-drive are strictly prohibited. All normal wear & tear and damages during self-driving are being paid for by the hirer (renter) in all respects. Any dent, damage, or failure in the vehicle during self-drive will be paid for by the hirer (renter) in all respects.
